Sculptra is an injectable treatment containing poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible material that stimulates the body's collagen production.

How does Sculptra work?

Changes develop over the following weeks and months as new collagen forms. The degree and duration of improvement vary between individuals.

Temporary swelling, redness, tenderness and bruising can occur. Less common complications include lumps or nodules, and serious complications are possible with facial injections. We'll explain the risks and provide product-specific aftercare instructions before treatment.

Sculptra or a skin booster?

Although both are injectable treatments, they have different purposes.

Skin boosters, such as Profhilo, are primarily used to improve aspects of skin quality, including hydration and the appearance of firmness and texture.
