Volumise and contour, correct and fill

Dermal fillers can be injected into the skin with the purpose of restoring lost volume, to soften and fill lines and folds, contour the cheeks and jawline and rejuvenate and enhance the lips. 

The dermal fillers used at Body, mind and face contain hyaluronic acid (HA), which is a naturally occurring substance found in our skin and therefore have a very low risk of allergic reaction when injected into our skin.

HA dermal fillers are very hydrophilic (they attract and hold onto water) allowing them to maintain their volume and shape . The longevity of dermal fillers varies from person to person and depending on product.

As we age, intrinsic factors cause loss of subcutaneous fat, bone reabsorption  and loss of elastin and collagen can result in volume loss, line formation and sagging of the skin. This combined with external factors such as sun damage cause the face to age.

Dermal fillers can  be used to restore this lost volume as well as contouring  the face and enhancing facial features 

Dermal fillers are very versatile and are used to treat a number of areas, including;

• lip enhancement (see lip enhancement section for further details).

• Restoration of lost volume in the cheeks and temples.

• Static superficial to deep lines around the face including nasolabial folds and marionette lines. Treatment to the cheeks and temples to volumise and  support the structures  beneath these lines increases the longevity of the filler, as does the addition of anti-wrinkle injections.

• Tear trough  rejuvenation

• Chin enhancement and jawline contouring 

​The full face approach targets multiple areas of the face. These areas will be individual to each person and discussed at consultation. Volumes required will also vary to each person and their desired result. My aim is always to deliver natural looking results while maintaining harmony between the facial features.
